Frequently Asked Questions
Is the free consultation really free, with no obligation?
Yes. It's a short, relaxed call to ask questions and see if a therapist feels like the right fit, no pressure, no commitment either way.
Is online therapy actually confidential and secure?
Yes. All sessions are held on an encrypted video platform, and you can take your session from anywhere private and comfortable, often your own home.
Will you make me talk about things I'm not ready for?
No. We work collaboratively, with your goals and comfort level guiding the process. You set the pace, and we’ll focus on what feels most helpful for you. When working with couples and families, our role is not to take sides, but to support each person and working towards shared goals, such as improving communication, and rebuilding the relationship in a way that feels meaningful to you.
Do you offer direct billing?
Yes, direct billing is available with select insurance providers. Ask during your free consultation.
Can I work with a therapist in a different province than I live in?
Our psychologists and counsellors are licensed to see clients located in Alberta or British Columbia, matched to where you're currently living.
